What will Sailing look like 100 years from now in 2120?

Rendezvous 

• Because of COVID this event will now be a rendezvous with each boat anchoring separately.

• Location: Waterhole Cove off Harris Creek on Choptank River. 38º 45.6 N    076º 18.6’W  

• If you have not already done so, Skippers are requested to send an email to ldrucoordinator@pentagonsailing.org with your intentions for participating.

•  Change 1 to the Sail Plan. is available. A Raft Plan is no longer applicable.

• We will also use this rendezvous to take pictures (preferably under full sail if conditions allow) of each boat participating in this event.

• Sign up for the Club charter boat is open LDRU 2020: Club-Chartered Boat.

• Reservations are on a First Come First Served Basis. There is no PSC group reservation so please reserve soon

• Make slip reservations directly with the marina at 410-867-4343.

• Marina COVID policies will apply.

Dinner at Dockside Restaurant  

• The group dinner at Dockside is still on for Sunday September 6, 2020 starting at 1730!

• Make your reservation (including kids) and menu selection no later than Monday August 31st by Registering on LDRU 2020 - Dinner at Dockside Restaurant, Herrington Harbour North. How the dinner will work in light of COVID, costs and other details are explained on this registration page.

• Skippers please remind crew to Register for the dinner if they would like to participate.
  

 Festivities 

• Even though we will not be rafting up this year each boat should have some fun by dressing up, decorating the boat, playing some music and serving drinks that will be in vogue in 2120. Check out PSC Labor Day 2020 Festivities for some ideas.
• As a boat, look out on the anchorage and come up with your prediction of which boat is most likely to still be on the water and sailing in 2120.
• Each Boat bring small items and USB flash drive with pictures for the Pentagon Sailing Club “Time Capsule;” 

• Each Boat announces at the Sunday dinner their pick for the boat at the anchorage that will most likely be still sailing in 2120.
